As Greek expats in Switzerland, we often need to find some Greek specialties in order to cook our favourite recipes or just because we miss a taste of Greece every now and then.
For the last 9 years that we have been living in Lausanne, we have discovered various places offering Greek extra virgin olive oil, honey, cheese, herbs, paksimadia from Crete (barley rusks), pies, wines etc. This list is continuously evolving. In this blog post, I share some of the addresses we use a lot and a few others that have been recommended by other Greek expats via social media.
Here is how I have categorized them:
Food products
- By region (Vaud, Geneva, Fribourg, Monthey, Zurich, Zofingen, Basel )
- Online shops
Wellbeing & various products
This is not an exhaustive list and I am sure more places can be added; if I’ve missed your favourite addresses in Switzerland that offer Greek specialties, send me an email so that I can include it.
